On Thursday Feb 15th at 8am Student members of the Global Classmates program gathered in the computer room around a small screen. They were waiting to speak with students to whom they have been writing since last September. Soon afterwards, the Students from Bear Creek High School in Colorado were talking and introducing themselves in Japanese. The students enjoyed talking with each other and spoke about club activities, school life, future dreams and places to visit. Using a mix of English and Japanese, students on both sides of the planet discovered that while we have different cultures, we're very much the same.
