Our school emblem was chosen through public suggestions submitted to the school in 1955. The chosen emblem is based on the character "north", the hoku in Rakuhoku. The inventor is Mr. Eiji Shibatsuji, a member of one of the first graduating classes at Rakuhoku. The prototype was a three-dimensional shape reformed to be used as a badge.
