The 14 students of Lycée Nevers participated in one-week study experience at Toba from October 16 (W) through 18 (F). During the classes, both Nevers and Toba students tried to communicate in French, English and Japanese, and sometimes with the help of gestures. Besides the classes, they joined several other activities including preparation sessions for Toba Sotai, or the Annual Athletic Meet and extracurricula activities, such as Tea Ceremony, Sumo, Kendo, Igo and Shogi (traditional Japanese board games), and Button twirling. They are going to stay with their host family all day on Saturday.
