 SGH Overseas Study Program in Taiwan 2019 － Day 3 2019/12/27 

Toba students visited Taiwan Kataoka Corporation in the morning. They learned how the company operates and what qualifications and abilities they will require in order to work in a global company. After that Toba students gave a presentation about their research projects, and received a feedback about the presentation. In the afternoon, they visited SOLAS, one of the most well known companies in outboard/stern drive propellers and impellers for personal watercraft vehicles, founded by Dr. Solas Y. J. Lin., who explained how he had founded the company, how the company operates now, and how it was like to study at Tokyo University. After that, they joined in the factory tour, in which they were able to see the manufacturing process of their products, which are normally not open to the public.
