Today the first grade Global Course students began working on their group research projects. Each group chose a topic based on one of these five themes: Regional Art, Human Rights, Cultural Artifacts, Education, and Industry.

Each group talked about what topic they would choose. Using a method introduced by Prof. Inui from Kyoto Koka Women's University, they discussed until they could all agree on a group topic.

As a next step, the groups will begin working on their research projects in earnest.
