Welcome to Kyoto Prefectural Nanyo Senior High School

Kyoto Prefectural Nanyo Senior High School is located in Kizugawa City, a Cultural Science City, in the south of Kyoto Prefecture. The school celebrated its 30^th Anniversary last year. Our school strives to provide students with an environment that facilitates academic excellence and high achievement in extra-curricular activities. We also work with local communities to promote active citizenship and expose students to the challenges our society currently faces.

Our school has three philosophies, these are to:

Show respect and humanity to all: students should show respect and kindness towards others, in order to create a peaceful and understanding society.

Develop a strong will, healthy mind and healthy body: we encourage our students to set ambitious goals, and we believe that it is important to have these three qualities in order to achieve them.

Our students enjoy life at Nanyo. The disciplined structure, various extra-curricular and collaborative activities allow students to experience a rich learning atmosphere where they can study and create with friends.
