10月26日（土）に南丹市国際交流会館で行われた令和６年度第17回京都府高等学校英語スピーチコンテスト及び第48回京都府立高等学校英語スピーチコンテストにおいて、本校２年生の種池美月さんが「Under the Seams of Fast Fashion: Its Dark Underside」というタイトルでスピーチを行い準優勝に輝きました。その結果12月８日（日）に兵庫県で行われる近畿大会への出場が決定しました！健闘を期待したいと思います！

　On Saturday, October 26th, the final round of the 17th Kyoto High School and the 48th Kyoto Prefectural High School English Speech Contest was held at the Nantan City International Center. Our 2nd-year student, Mitsuki Taneike, gave a speech titled "Under the Seams of Fast Fashion: Its Dark Underside," which won second place. As a result, she will move on to participate in the Kansai English Speech Contest, which is due to be held in Hyogo Prefecture on Sunday, December 8th! We look forward to her next performance!
