As in the first competition in July, our students who have a desire to challenge the debate participated in the 2nd Impromptu Debate Competition held in Kyoto in 2025.

Although one of our student groups won 4th place in the previous competition, it was difficult for them to reach the podium this time. Nevertheless, they did their best in two debates and won one of the matches.

Furthermore, one of our students was selected as the Best Debater and took part in the exhibition debate.

It is certain that all of the students have improved their English-speaking ability as well as their thinking skills, such as logical reasoning and metacognitive awareness.

We hope they will take the lead in English classes and contribute to the further development of our English education.
