デンマークにあるグリッブスコウ10校より、生徒・教職員の皆さまが来校され、本校2年生と交流を行いました。
1時間目の歓迎会では、普通科の生徒が本校の紹介プレゼンテーションを実施しました。続く2・3時間目には、京都フォレスト科の生徒とともに木工体験を行い、名前を漢字で表現しレーザー加工による名札づくりに挑戦しました。
4時間目は普通科の生徒との英語による合同授業を実施し、午後からは調理実習にて和菓子作りを体験していただきました。
この交流を通して、生徒たちは「英語で伝えること」の難しさや、楽しく有意義な時間を過ごしていただくためのホスピタリティの大切さを学ぶ、貴重な一日となりました。

Students and staff from Gribskov 10 School in Denmark visited our school and participated in an exchange program with our second-year students.
During the first period, students in the General Course welcomed the guests with a presentation introducing our school. In the second and third periods, students from the Kyoto Forest Course led a woodworking activity, in which the visitors created name tags by expressing their names in kanji and engraving them using a laser cutter.
In the fourth period, they joined an English class with students in the General Course, followed by a traditional Japanese sweets–making session in the afternoon as part of a cooking practicum.
Through this exchange, our students learned the challenges of “communicating in English” as well as the importance of hospitality—ensuring that our guests had an enjoyable and meaningful experience. It was a valuable and enriching day for everyone involved.
