京都府立鳥羽高等学校

The second year Global Course students had Landscapes of Kyoto and the World on February 1 (Sa), and in that class, they attended a lecture televised via video-conference system, which was organized by Mr. Shindo Shuichi, a professor at the graduate school of language and culture of the University of Osaka. He gave a lecture, titled "Movements of People and Multi-Cultural Society," in which the students were provided with an opportunity to learn and think of the mechanism of migration of people. They also obtained a new insight into how to establish a theory from collected data in the process of academic research, which will certainly give them valuable clues to further studies in the future.
