 Emilie Aghajani: Hello! I am Emilie Aghajani and I am from California in the United States. This is my first time living in Japan, but Ihave studied abroad in Scotland! I am 21 years old and I have just graduated from university this year with a degree in biochemistry. I love learning about other languages and cultures, so I feel very lucky to be living in Uji and tobe teaching at Higashiuji Senior High School. I hope that the students here are excited to learn about English and the world. I am very excited to start teaching and I cannot wait to see all of the things I will learn at this school! It has been a pleasuremeeting the staff and students of Higashi-Uji Senior High School over the pasttwo months, as well as discovering the wide range of incredible experiencesavailable in the Kansai region. I taught English in South Korea for two years,lived in America for four months and I have traveled to twenty-three countriesso far.
